Pulmuone Participates in the First Digital Cluster Construction Project by a Food Company

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Pulmuone is the first domestic food company to promote the establishment of a data-driven digital cluster smart factory.
On the 31st, Pulmuone announced that it signed a business agreement with the Korea Food Safety Management Certification Institute (hereinafter HACCP Certification Institute) under the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety to establish a 'Digital Cluster Manufacturing Innovation Model for the Food Industry.'
Through this business agreement, Pulmuone will work together to strengthen the competitiveness of the food industry as well as achieve mutual growth in the industry by building a digital cluster model using 4th industrial revolution technologies such as IoT (Internet of Things) and big data with its partners.
The signing ceremony held on the 30th at Pulmuone headquarters in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, was attended by Cho Gi-won, Director of the Korea Food Safety Management Certification Institute, Ahn Young-soon, Director of Certification Business, Cho Jae-jin, Head of Technology Innovation Headquarters, and Pulmuone CEO Lee Hyo-yul, Chief Strategy Officer Lee Sang-bu, CEO of Integrated Operations Park Park Kwang-soon, and Head of Digital Innovation Kim Sung-hoon.
Pulmuone was selected as the first digital cluster model in the food industry for the government digital cluster project and will build a smart factory specialized for the food industry in an online space with six partner companies. By forming a general digital cluster, companies within the cluster will be able to share and integrate information on manufacturing, production, quality, and delivery, which is expected to help improve productivity and strengthen the overall competitiveness of the industry.
According to the agreement, both parties will collaborate to ▲ establish a new food manufacturing innovation model of a general digital cluster to improve productivity, quality, and safety management in the food manufacturing sector ▲ promote information exchange, media activities, and benchmarking of best practices to enhance competitiveness in food manufacturing ▲ build a cooperative system with related organizations for the dissemination and expansion of smart factories and HACCP ▲ and jointly promote other matters deemed necessary for cooperation between the two organizations.
