[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyewon] The Korea International Trade Association (KITA) announced on the 29th that it will launch the 'Overseas Branch Local Support Service' on the 30th to alleviate the difficulties faced by export companies struggling with overseas business trips due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
For this service, KITA's 11 overseas branches have prepared various services tailored to the conditions of each branch. They provide services that can replace overseas business trips for companies, including market information by key local industries and items, buyer introductions, support for participation in exhibitions and consultation meetings, logistics customs clearance, legal and licensing advisory services.
