[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] The Korea Automotive Technology Institute and Isu Venture Capital joined hands on the 27th to discover outstanding startup companies in the future automobile sector.
The Korea Automotive Technology Institute and Isu Venture Capital announced that they signed a "Mutual Cooperation Agreement (MOU) for Investment and Nurturing of Future Automobile Companies" on the same day.
According to this agreement, the Korea Automotive Technology Institute and Isu Venture Capital will promote ▲ discovering promising startups, investing, and linking follow-up investments ▲ fostering companies through infrastructure and technology support and consulting ▲ operating nurturing programs such as education, mentoring, networking, and seminars.
Since this year, the Korea Automotive Technology Institute has been conducting the Ministry of Science and ICT's "Chungnam Cheonan·Asan Small Giant R&D Special Zone" development project, focusing on establishing research institute companies in the "next-generation automobile parts" field and producing technology startups. Isu Venture Capital plans to focus not only on its existing specialized investment area of cultural content but also on investment in innovative technology fields centered on the 4th industrial revolution.
The Korea Automotive Technology Institute expects to create various synergy effects by discovering startups in the future automobile sector through this agreement.
