[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Australian home furniture company 'Koala' has received official certification from the World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC).
The WFC is an official non-governmental organization of the World Health Organization (WHO), composed of spinal correction care and healthcare professionals worldwide. After a rigorous review process, the WFC highly evaluated the technology and materials applied to the Koala mattress, developed based on research on sleep. The mattresses certified by the WFC include three types: Koala Mattress, Koala Calm, and Koala Soulmate, covering all Koala mattress products.
By establishing an official partnership with the WFC, Koala has solidified its authority as a leading company in the mattress industry. Koala products are the only mattresses officially certified by the WFC in Korea.
Richard Brown, Secretary General of the WFC, stated, "The WFC was greatly impressed by Koala's high product quality and the use of materials that provide both comfort and support." He added, "Since many people worldwide suffer from back pain, choosing a mattress that helps achieve restful sleep is important. It is encouraging to partner with a company like Koala that produces products based on an understanding of different spinal structures."
