GTreeBNT Signs 4.5 Billion KRW Influenza Vaccine Distribution Contract... "Expecting a Turnaround"
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Gtree BNT announced on the 27th that it has signed a 4.5 billion KRW influenza vaccine distribution contract with the Korea Population, Health and Welfare Association.
Gtree BNT will supply the influenza vaccines to locations designated by the Korea Population, Health and Welfare Association. Distribution is expected to be completed within the year.
Earlier this year, the company signed a 9 billion KRW contract with SK Bioscience for COVID-19 vaccine distribution management. In May, it also signed a 5.6 billion KRW contract through the Public Procurement Service to distribute influenza vaccines to military units. By consecutively securing vaccine distribution contracts, the company expects to turn a profit in operating income this year.
Gtree BNT acquired and merged with YSP Pharm, a vaccine distribution specialist, in 2018. It owns a dedicated cold chain warehouse facility for COVID-19 vaccines in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do. Currently, it also distributes AstraZeneca, Janssen, and Pfizer vaccines.
