Fall and Winter Semester Online and Offline Courses for Dads and Children to be Offered
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Homeplus announced on the 27th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on the 25th for partnership in online and offline programs with Wolf Planet, a time curation calendar for dads raising children. Wolf Planet is a service that recommends classes and products where dads and their children can create good memories based on the child's age and residential area.
The two companies agreed to open the Wolf Planet Childcare Daddy program at the Homeplus Culture Center and to cooperate mutually for smooth operation including member recruitment. Considering the social distancing level 4 situation, the signing ceremony was held in a virtual space on a metaverse platform. Kim Sung-taek, Head of Sales at Homeplus, and Lee Byung-hee, CEO of Wolf Planet, attracted attention by attending as avatars modeled after themselves in the virtual space.
For the fall semester, Homeplus Culture Center will offer the Wolf Planet Play Kit class as an online kids course to be taken with dads. The courses will include "Traditional Kite Making by a Certified Intangible Cultural Asset Holder" and "Retro Toy Play, the Hot Item from Changsin-dong Toy Street." After applying online, participants receive the play kit and watch the course videos at home with their children.
In the winter semester, an offline course called "Drone Class with Dad" will be opened. This program helps participants understand drone technology and learn how to use drones through hands-on practice.
