Hangang Project Headquarters Completes Installation of 176 Contactless Tourism QR Codes Across 11 Hangang Parks
Includes All Information on Parking Lots, Exercise Facilities, Contactless Historical Exploration, and Night Tour Courses Throughout Hangang
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Seoul Metropolitan Government's Hangang Project Headquarters announced on the 27th that it has launched the ‘Hangang QR 176’ service, which allows users to access detailed maps, convenience facilities, and tourism content for each Hangang Park simply by scanning a QR code. A total of 176 QR codes have been installed across 11 Hangang Parks.
‘Hangang QR 176’ is a non-face-to-face tourism QR code that comprehensively covers extensive usage information, cultural facilities, and attractions throughout Hangang Parks, enabling quick and easy access. Users can find information ranging from sports facilities such as badminton courts, parking lot details, historical exploration, night tours, ecological experience courses that can be enjoyed without a guide, audio guides, to self-guidebooks.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government expects that by utilizing ‘Hangang QR 176’, various pieces of information scattered online can be linked with offline resources and viewed at a glance, thereby supporting citizens' autonomous leisure activities.
‘Hangang QR 176’ has been installed at access facilities such as entrances and elevators, as well as cultural and natural tourist attractions within Hangang Parks to allow easy on-site information access. Ninety-one QR codes were installed at access facilities like entrances, and 85 at tourist attractions.
The Seoul Hangang Project Headquarters plans to actively utilize the ‘Hangang QR 176’ installed throughout Hangang Parks so that anyone can easily and accurately check what is happening in the parks they visit and enjoy their time autonomously.
