A bank employee A (33), working at Shinhan Bank in Seongsan-gu, Changwon, noticed a man transferring 1 million won every 20 minutes at a bank ATM for 20 minutes at around 6:25 PM on the 19th. Sensing the possibility of criminal involvement, A reported it to the police.
Police who arrived at the scene following A's report arrested the voice phishing remittance agent B (44), booked him on fraud charges, and recovered 7 million won that had not yet been transferred.
