Fubon Hyundai Life, CEO Jaewon Lee's Reappointment Virtually Confirmed
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Fubon Hyundai Life announced on the 26th that its Executive Candidate Recommendation Committee recommended CEO candidate Lee Jae-won as the next Chief Executive Officer on the 24th.
The committee stated the reason for the recommendation, saying, "He is an executive with experience and knowledge in finance, shares the company's vision, and can contribute to the company's public interest and sound management."
Since 2018, CEO Lee has maintained high management performance for three consecutive years and played a leading role in overcoming the accumulated deficit management situation since 2012. After being appointed CEO of Hyundai Life in January 2017, he became the first CEO of Fubon Hyundai Life in September of the same year when the major shareholder changed to Taiwan's Fubon Life in 2018.
