Jangheung-gun and Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation Sign Agreement on Issuing Card-Type Gift Certificates
Sale of Jeongnamjin Jangheung Love Card Starting from the 1st of Next Month
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Jangheung-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it signed a business agreement with the Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation on the 25th to launch the card-type Jeongnamjin Jangheung Love Gift Certificate starting early next month.
They agreed to cooperate on the production of the Jeongnamjin Jangheung Love Card, service improvements to enhance reliability and security, application of new technologies for activating the Jeongnamjin Jangheung Love Card, and promotion.
The card-type gift certificate can be conveniently used like a regular check card at any affiliated store in the region starting from the 1st of next month. Once the card-type gift certificate is introduced, users can issue cards, recharge, check usage history and balance through the smartphone app ‘Local Gift Certificate chak’ without visiting the sales agency, and can also issue cards by visiting a nearby Nonghyup branch.
Affiliated stores expect some improvement in sales due to the influx of younger customers who prefer card-type gift certificates over paper-type ones and the diversification of payment methods.
