Sandan Gong, Seoul Digital Complex COVID-19 Special Quarantine Inspection
Support for Quarantine Supplies for Workers in Knowledge Industry Centers and Call Center Sectors
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Seoul Regional Headquarters of the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation announced on the 25th that it will conduct a 'Special COVID-19 Prevention Disinfection Inspection' on multi-use facilities such as knowledge industry centers and workplaces with dense workers until the end of September in response to the recent spread of COVID-19.
The Seoul Digital Industrial Complex is home to more than 10,000 resident companies in 128 knowledge industry centers, with about 140,000 workers employed, so if COVID-19 spreads, it could have a significant negative impact on the local economy.
This special disinfection inspection was conducted to prevent cluster infections and production disruptions within the industrial complex and to raise awareness by strengthening disinfection management focused on industrial sites. The Seoul Headquarters of the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation has organized its own inspection team to carry out ▲posting and guidance of disinfection rules ▲disinfection and indoor ventilation ▲visitor management ▲social distancing inspections.
In particular, for the call center industry, where cluster infections occurred in the early stages of COVID-19, disinfection inspections and support for disinfection supplies are being requested to actively promote self-disinfection activities. The Seoul Headquarters of the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation has also installed and operates a 'contactless disinfection supplies vending machine' to provide supplies for industrial complex disinfection 24 hours a day.
