Dongshin University Operates 'Blockchain Developer Course' to Train Smart Tourism Experts

View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] The Jeonnam-type Glocal Culture and Tourism Workforce Development Project Group at Dongshin University (Director Professor Ryu Gap-sang) announced on the 24th that it will operate a ‘Blockchain Developer Course’ to train smart tourism experts.
This course, conducted for about 20 students majoring in computer engineering, received support from the ICT Technology Innovation Square Expansion Project carried out by the Jeonnam Information and Culture Industry Promotion Agency.
The purpose is to spread the latest technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain throughout the industrial sector in the Jeonnam region and to cultivate specialized talent who will lead innovation in the main industries of the Honam area.
Students participating in the blockchain developer course will receive intensive education for 160 hours from the country’s top professional instructors on understanding blockchain, Ethereum practice, and blockchain Dapp development.
Director Ryu Gap-sang said, "The students who receive this education will grow into experts in the ICT convergence field, one of Jeonnam Province’s five new growth engines, and will greatly contribute to the development of the regional smart tourism industry."
