View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] On the 24th, the campaign of Yoon Seok-yeol, the People Power Party's presidential candidate and former Prosecutor General, announced that lawmakers Han Mu-gyeong and Jeong Chan-min, who were suspected of speculation in the Korea Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission's full-scale real estate investigation, have stepped down from positions related to the campaign.
Kim Byung-min, spokesperson for Yoon's campaign, stated on the same day, "Lawmakers Han Mu-gyeong and Jeong Chan-min, affiliated with the national campaign, have expressed their intention to voluntarily step down from campaign-related positions, and we have accepted this." However, regarding lawmaker Lee Cheol-gyu, he said, "Since he requested an additional opportunity to explain, we decided to observe the clarification process before making a judgment."
Additionally, the People Power Party decided to expel lawmaker Han, a proportional representative among the 12 party members suspected of violating related laws during real estate transactions. On the 24th, Lee Jun-seok, leader of the People Power Party, announced this decision of the party leadership to reporters after an emergency Supreme Council meeting.

Meanwhile, lawmakers Kang Ki-yoon, Lee Joo-hwan, Lee Cheol-gyu, Jeong Chan-min, and Choi Chun-sik were asked to leave the party.
