Pizza Alvolo, Industry's First to Use 'Eco-Friendly Vinyl'
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Pizza Alvolo announced on the 24th that it will be the first in the pizza industry to use vinyl certified as eco-friendly.
Pizza Alvolo plans to sequentially use a total of five types of vinyl products certified by the Ministry of Environment on delivery bags and shopping bags.
Pizza Alvolo's eco-friendly vinyl is characterized by improving the limitations of existing eco-friendly biodegradable vinyl. More than 50% of recycled resin was used in the manufacturing process. Since general biodegradable vinyl is vulnerable to heat and it is difficult to deliver hot pizza fresh from the oven, the company collaborated with manufacturers to develop vinyl products that have both heat resistance and eco-friendliness.
