Kyungbok University announced on the 23rd that it signed a strategic partnership agreement with Shinhan Bank on the 20th at its Namyangju Campus in Gyeonggi Province to support student startups.
According to the agreement, the two institutions will closely cooperate in ▲ providing preferential interest rate services to entrepreneurs at Kyungbok University's Entrepreneurship Startup Support Center and incubating companies at the Startup Incubation Center ▲ promoting Shinhan Bank products and services to support student startups at Kyungbok University ▲ and other mutually agreed tasks.
Kim Kyung-bok, Acting President of Kyungbok University, said, "Although our university has a high employment rate, support for student startups has been relatively insufficient, so we have been considering ways to revitalize startups at the university level. We are pleased to sign a startup support agreement with Shinhan Bank." He emphasized, "To revitalize startups, first, the school must make efforts to cultivate students' entrepreneurial mindset; second, students' startup ideas are essential; and third, financial support from society is necessary."
He added, "We hope that Shinhan Bank will provide various financial services with a mindset of coexistence and mutual growth, creating an opportunity to further foster students' startup and entrepreneurial mindsets."
