Hapcheon-gun Extends Social Distancing Level 3 Measures Until September 5
Considering the High Transmission Rate and Infection Spread Patterns Due to Variant Viruses
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam announced that it will extend the implementation of Social Distancing Level 3 from 0:00 on the 23rd to 24:00 on September 5.
The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters decided at a regular meeting that despite the increasing public fatigue due to the prolonged social distancing, considering the high transmissibility of the variant virus and the pattern of infection spread, continuous suppression of the spread is necessary. Therefore, the existing Level 3 social distancing in non-metropolitan areas will be extended for an additional two weeks.
Accordingly, Gyeongnam's Social Distancing Level 3 will also be extended for two weeks from the 23rd to September 5.
With this extension of Social Distancing Level 3, the ban on private gatherings of five or more people, the exclusion of exceptions for private gatherings at entertainment facilities and singing practice rooms, and administrative orders for major parks and water play areas within Hapcheon-gun will remain as before.
Additionally, to prevent violations of quarantine rules where restaurants are only allowed takeout and delivery after 10 PM, the use of outdoor tables and chairs at convenience stores for drinking and eating will be prohibited after 10 PM.
