Private Gatherings of 5 or More Prohibited, No Drinking or Eating at Convenience Stores During Night Hours
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam Province announced that it will extend the Level 3 social distancing measures for two more weeks from 0:00 on the 23rd to September 5th, in accordance with government policy, to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
According to this measure, ▲private gatherings of five or more people are prohibited ▲entertainment facilities, holdem pubs, karaoke rooms, bathhouses, indoor sports facilities focused on high-intensity aerobic exercise, door-to-door sales, etc. are restricted from gathering after 10 p.m. ▲restaurants and cafes are only allowed takeout and delivery from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next day ▲wedding halls and funeral halls are limited to fewer than 50 people ▲religious facilities operate at 20% capacity with bans on meetings, meals, and overnight stays, and other quarantine measures are maintained.
For private gatherings, ▲those who have completed vaccination (two doses with 14 days passed after the second dose, or one dose with 14 days passed after the dose) ▲cohabiting family members, caregivers (children, elderly, disabled, etc.), and those attending a deathbed ▲matchmaking meetings are allowed up to 8 people, first birthday parties up to 16 people ▲the minimum number of people required for sports games (up to 1.5 times the number of players) are excluded from the private gathering limit, but exceptions do not apply to entertainment facilities and karaoke rooms.
Regarding the extension of Level 3, users in smoking rooms must maintain a distance of 2 meters from each other, and if distancing is not possible, only one person may use the room at a time.
In particular, convenience stores are prohibited from drinking and eating inside from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next day, and outdoor tables and chairs are also prohibited from use after 10 p.m.
