'2021 Online and Offline Gangwon Job Fair' Opens... Largest Scale Ever
Participation of 121 Companies and Organizations by September 17... Plan to Hire Over 500 New Employees
[Asia Economy Reporter La Young-cheol] The '2021 On·Offline Gangwon Job Fair,' the largest-ever metropolitan integrated job festival in Gangwon Province, opened on the 23rd and has entered a four-week schedule.
Co-hosted by seven job-related organizations including the Gangwon Job Foundation and 18 cities and counties, this fair is being held online and offline through the Gangwon Job Information Network until September 17. A total of 121 companies and institutions are participating, planning to hire around 500 new employees.
About 200 job seekers and representatives from recruiting companies engage in conversations with key personnel via a video conferencing system, and officially commence the event through Chuncheon Global Studio Gangwon Live.
The offline fair will be held at four locations: Wonju National Sports Center (9/2), Chuncheon Sky Convention Wedding Hall (9/7), Gangneung Gangneung Science Industry Promotion Agency (9/16), and Hongcheon Hongcheon-eup Office (9/17).
The opening ceremony will include congratulatory performances, opening remarks and speeches, a demonstration of the Gangwon Job Information Network (job.gwd.go.kr) 'Non-face-to-face ONE-STOP Employment Support Service,' and an opening performance for the fair. It will be broadcast online and via mobile through the video conferencing system and YouTube.
The opening ceremony will be attended by Minister of Employment and Labor An Kyung-duk, Governor of Gangwon Province Choi Moon-soon, Chairman of the Provincial Council Kwak Do-young, as well as representatives of economic organizations and heads of co-hosting institutions.
