Ace Bed's First Half Sales Increase 22.9% to 171.6 Billion KRW... Record High
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Ace Bed's sales in the first half of this year recorded an all-time high.
On the 20th, Ace Bed announced that its sales and operating profit in the first half of this year increased by 22.87% and 54.92% compared to the same period last year, reaching 171.6 billion KRW and 40 billion KRW respectively, setting a record high since its establishment. Net profit for the same period also rose by 48.76% to 33.8 billion KRW.
As the COVID-19 pandemic prolonged, lifestyles shifted to being home-centered, leading to growing interest in interior design and premium furniture. In this context, Ace Bed's achievement of record-high sales in the first half is analyzed to be largely due to emphasizing product experience and expanding consumer touchpoints.
Ace Bed has opened key stores called 'Ace Square' in major regions nationwide, reflecting the company philosophy that "beds must be tried out in person before purchase," and is expanding premium experience spaces. Recently, it opened the Ace Square Gwanak branch in Bongcheon-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul, with a floor area of approximately 935.5㎡ (283 pyeong) across six floors above ground.
Ace Square allows customers to explore and experience frames, mattresses, and bedroom interiors in various spaces. Through the curating services of bed experts stationed at the store, customers can receive assistance in selecting beds or furniture tailored to their body type and sleeping habits.
