On the 19th, the Korean Consulate General in Hong Kong announced, "The Hong Kong government has announced that it will strengthen the recognition criteria for COVID-19 vaccination certificates," and "According to the strengthened regulations, vaccination certificates issued in the Republic of Korea will not be recognized starting from the 20th."
Accordingly, from the 20th, Korean nationals must obtain a Hong Kong visa when visiting Hong Kong. They must also undergo a 3-week self-quarantine at designated hotels.
