According to the Coast Guard on the 18th, at around 8 p.m. on the 17th, A (28), a sergeant, fell near the shanggadae (a platform used to place ships) close to a 3,000-ton patrol vessel stationed at the Naval Maintenance Yard in Jinhae, Gyeongnam.
At the time of the accident, the vessel was lifted on land for repairs. Sergeant A, a crew member of the ship, is reported to have fallen from the shanggadae, which is approximately 20 meters high.
