Jeonju City Builds Steep Slope Video Data Using Drones
[Jeonju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] Jeonju City announced on the 18th that it will build video data of steep slopes at risk of rockfall and collapse accidents during typhoons or heavy rains using drones.
Jeonju City plans to use drone footage to capture 64 steep slope locations within the region, including near Ajung Lake, by next month for disaster safety management purposes.
The filming locations include 24 sites in Deokjin-gu such as near Ajung Lake and Geumam High School, and 40 sites in Wansan-gu such as near Omokdae and Omokgyo Bridge.
Jeonju City expects this to be widely utilized in disaster safety management tasks, such as establishing disaster safety management plans and conducting safety inspections, as well as aiding immediate response in case of disaster damage.
