Won Hee-ryong: "Lee Jun-seok, Release the Entire Recording of 'Yoon Seok-yeol Arrangement'"
[Asia Economy reporters Naju-seok and Park Joon-yi] Won Hee-ryong, a presidential candidate from the People Power Party and former governor of Jeju Province, on the 18th demanded that Lee Jun-seok, the leader of the People Power Party, release the entire audio recording regarding the controversy over Lee’s remarks about former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-youl.
On the 18th, Won held a press conference at the People Power Party headquarters and stated, "I swear on my memory and conscience to clearly say again," adding, "The person Lee referred to when he said 'soon to be settled' is former Prosecutor General Yoon."
Previously, Lee had released an AI-transcribed recording of a phone call from the 10th, during a conversation with Won that had sparked controversy over the mention of 'settling.' Lee explained that the mention of settling meant that the conflict with former Prosecutor General Yoon would be resolved. In a separate media interview, Lee said, "If you recite the sentence (from the call) exactly, the other side (Yoon’s camp) has issues regarding party admission, but looking at recent polls, this situation will soon be settled," adding, "As internal party conflicts arose, the candidate’s support rate also declined, and if both sides realize that the conflict is not beneficial, the campaign atmosphere, which has been heated, will calm down."
In response, Won refuted Lee’s explanation, claiming, "Because former Prosecutor General Yoon’s support rate is falling, it will soon be settled." He said, "The solution to this issue is to release the entire recording," adding, "Then you can fully understand the flow and context of the conversation, as well as the tone and emotions contained within."

Regarding Won’s demand, Lee expressed his feelings on social media, describing the situation as "pitiful." A representative from Lee’s side stated, "Won demanded the release of the recording, so we released it, but what more can we do?" and predicted that there would be no further response such as releasing the full audio file. They believe public judgment has already been made and intend to avoid getting dragged into a mudslinging battle through additional actions.
