NaHonSan 'Wangtta Controversy'... Kian84 "I Might Have Died If I Hadn't Been on the Show"
[Asia Economy Online Issue Team] Webtoon artist Kian84 (real name Kim Heemin, 37) expressed his affection for the MBC entertainment program 'I Live Alone' amid a bullying controversy, saying, "If I hadn't been on the show, I might have died."
On the 17th, Kian84 posted a video titled 'Finding Material' on his YouTube channel 'Life84,' sharing his inner thoughts.
When asked by the production team if there was a topic he wanted to try, he replied, "A cost-effective consumption lifestyle, that is, tips to feel satisfied with little money," adding, "I also want to do something about financial technology. I studied real estate and also do some stock trading. People think I'm stupid, but I go to Gwacheon about once a month to talk with securities investors about international affairs."
Showing interest in fashion content, Kian84 said, "Many people have been curious about my wardrobe," and revealed, "I throw away clothes I don't wear. I don't keep them just because they're a waste." He disclosed three pieces of clothing he still has attachment to: the military uniform he wore at the training camp, a padded jacket he has worn for 10 years, and a luxury outerwear worth 2.5 million won.
He also mentioned relationship counseling content, expressing confidence by saying, "I don't know much about women's psychology, but I think I understand men's psychology a bit." He added, "In my 20s, I was excited about small things, but that disappeared. At this age, I don't get excited when I see someone. I just went to work every day and drew. If I hadn't been on the show, I might have died because I hardly had any social experience," he confessed.
Finally, when asked if he wanted to feel excitement, he said, "Always. I wonder how it would be to express that on YouTube. Then how about calling it 'Finding Happiness'?" He also showed determination by saying, "I will take your opinions and create a good topic."
Meanwhile, Kian84 was involved in a bullying controversy on the MBC program 'I Live Alone' aired on the 13th. In that episode, Kian84 prepared a gathering with all the cast members to celebrate the completion of his webtoon 'Return to School King,' but only Jeon Hyun-moo accompanied him, and other cast members did not appear.
Jeon Hyun-moo explained it was a surprise and that he came as a representative due to COVID-19, but Kian84 expressed disappointment, saying, "Why didn't you say from the start that it would be just the two of us? Is this a surprise?"
