Koo Kwang-mo, LG Chairman's First Half Salary 6.579 Billion KRW... "Bonus 4.37 Billion KRW"
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] Koo Kwang-mo, chairman of LG Group, received a total compensation of 6.579 billion KRW in the first half of the year.
According to LG's semi-annual report disclosed on the 17th, Chairman Koo received a total of 6.579 billion KRW from January to June this year, including salary (base pay and role pay) of 2.211 billion KRW and bonuses of 4.368 billion KRW. This represents an approximately 13% increase compared to the first half of last year (total 5.824 billion KRW).
LG explained, "In accordance with the executive compensation regulations, the salary was comprehensively determined by considering rank, duties, and the importance of roles," adding, "Bonuses were calculated by evaluating quantitative and non-quantitative indicators such as performance achievements despite difficult management conditions including internal and external uncertainties, and contributions to enhancing business competitiveness from a long-term perspective."
Kwon Young-soo, Vice Chairman and CEO of LG, received a total of 2.591 billion KRW in the first half, including a salary of 871 million KRW and bonuses of 1.720 billion KRW.

Additionally, President Hong Beom-sik received a total of 1.050 billion KRW in the first half, including a salary of 476 million KRW and bonuses of 530 million KRW. President Lee Bang-su received 729 million KRW.
