Hwasun Jeonnam National University Hospital, Commitment to Conflict of Interest Prevention Pledge
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Employees of Hwasun Jeonnam National University Hospital signed the 'Conflict of Interest Prevention Practice Pledge' to eradicate the pursuit of private interests using job-related information.
Hwasun Jeonnam National University Hospital announced on the 16th that it recently held the '2021 Conflict of Interest Prevention Practice Pledge Ceremony' in the integrated conference room, attended by more than 50 executives including team leaders and above.
The event was organized to actively promote the hospital's commitment to integrity both internally and externally by directly participating in conflict of interest prevention, eradication of corruption, and spreading a culture of integrity as a regional base hospital.
At the pledge ceremony, Park Sunyoung, head nurse of the ward, and Heo Cheol, research administration team leader, took the conflict of interest prevention pledge together with hospital director Shin Myeonggeun, representing the hospital staff.
Hwasun Jeonnam National University Hospital plans to have all employees complete a pledge containing contents on conflict of interest prevention, prohibition of improper solicitation, and integrity, and place it in individual workspaces to strengthen the commitment to integrity.
Hospital director Shin Myeonggeun said, "Hwasun Jeonnam National University Hospital has been striving to spread a culture of integrity through various programs such as regular internal integrity surveys and employee training on prohibition of improper solicitation and conflict of interest prevention," adding, "We will continue to enhance employees' awareness and foster a fair organizational culture to fulfill our role as a leading institution in integrity."
