Gyeongnam Information University and Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology held a business agreement ceremony on the 12th to foster specialized personnel in the next-generation semiconductor field.

On the 12th, Gyeongnam Information University signed a business agreement with DGIST, which has the best nanofab infrastructure in the Yeongnam region.
At the signing ceremony, DGIST's Director of Research Lee Yoon-gu, Research Institute Director Lee Myung-jae, Center Director Lee Bong-ho, and Gyeongnam Information University’s Dean Lim Jun-woo and Vice Dean Yeo Min-woo attended and agreed to cultivate specialized personnel in the next-generation semiconductor field, a new industrial sector, starting with the establishment of the Semiconductor Department in 2022.
Through this agreement, semiconductor students will be able to receive theoretical education, field visits, and practical training in top-tier educational facilities.
