According to Hana Financial Investment on the 16th, the domestic sector that has shown a high correlation with Tesla's stock price before its annual events is the automobile and parts industry.
Researcher Lee Jae-seon of Hana Financial Investment stated, "Tesla held Autonomy Day in 2019, Battery Day in 2020, and this year it will hold AI Day," adding, "The market expects Tesla to emphasize autonomous driving technology more through this event."
Earlier, Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced on his Twitter on the 29th of last month (local time) that Tesla AI Day will be held on the 19th. The demonstration and technical explanations at this event are expected to be led by Elon Musk along with Andrea Carpati, who leads Tesla's AI team. At AI Day, progress on Tesla's artificial intelligence and autonomous driving-related software and hardware development is expected to be shared.
Meanwhile, Hana Financial Investment forecasted that the domestic stock market this week (17th to 20th) will continue to fluctuate amid a lack of momentum. The KOSPI band was suggested to be between 3150 and 3250.
