Education Support Office to Conduct Cheonwangbong Happy Education District Until November
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam, and the Sancheong Office of Education will operate customized educational programs tailored to the needs of each school in the region for the first time this year.
On the 13th, the county announced that, as part of the Cheonwangbong Happy Education District project being promoted together with the Sancheong Office of Education, it will run customized educational programs until the end of November.
This project will be entrusted and operated by an educational professional organization with a total budget of 65.4 million KRW. In August, it plans to operate in small class units after consultations with local schools.
The main content of this program is to provide career and college admission programs, self-directed learning, job experience programs, and special lectures by notable figures for 5th and 6th graders in elementary schools as well as middle and high school students in the region.
It offers opportunities to explore suitable careers through meetings with professionals in future promising occupations and job groups preferred by students.
In particular, the plan is to enhance attachment and pride in the region through visits to major attractions in Sancheong-gun and companies where career and job experiences are possible.
The county and the Office of Education will comply with COVID-19 quarantine rules for students' safety and will also conduct non-face-to-face education according to the social distancing level.
