Gwangju University Hosts Self-Directed Activity Case Presentation Competition

View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] Gwangju University (President Kim Hyuk-jong) Institute for Educational Innovation and the Center for Teaching and Learning Support announced on the 13th that they held the focused learning consulting event for motivating learning, the "2021 1st Semester Self-Directed Activity Case Presentation Competition."
This competition was organized as part of the University Innovation Support Project for 40 students who participated in the focused learning consulting program to share their experiences and achievements in self-directed learning activities. One team was awarded the grand prize, two teams received excellence awards, and six teams were given encouragement awards.
Gwangju University expects that the participating students will benefit in terms of increased confidence and motivation for learning through the learning motivation program utilizing cultural arts (dance and visual design).
Professor Oh Seon-ah, head of the Center for Teaching and Learning Support, said, "This semester, we specially trained learning coaches and achieved good results through customized learning consulting reflecting the characteristics of each student. We will continue to support students' career planning through systematic learning consulting operations."
