"Bibimmyeon Also Rises" Paldo Raises Ramen Prices by an Average of 7.8%
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Paldo announced on the 13th that it will raise the price of ramen by an average of 7.8% starting September 1. This is the first price increase for all products in 9 years and 2 months since June 2012.
The price increase rates for major products based on supply price are 10.9% for Bibimmyeon, 8.6% for Wang Ttukbaegi, 6.1% for Dosirak, and 6.3% for Ilpum Haemul Ramen. Actual retail prices may vary depending on the distribution store.
