View original imageThe spread of the fourth wave of COVID-19 has continued for over a month. On the 12th, the number of new confirmed cases remained around 2,000 for the second consecutive day. According to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency's Central Disease Control Headquarters, as of midnight that day, 1,987 new domestic cases were reported, bringing the total to 218,192 confirmed cases. Among the new cases, 1,947 were locally transmitted and 40 were imported. The temporary screening center at Yongsan Station was crowded with citizens seeking testing that day.
