Jeju Ido 119 Center Awards 5 Firefighters with 'Heart and Trauma Saver' Honors
[Jeju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] Jeju Fire Station Ido 119 Center (Center Chief Shin Pilhwan) announced on the 12th that it recently awarded Saber certificates to five firefighters at the Ido 119 Center.
HeartSaver means 'a person who revived a life' and is a certificate given when a patient at risk of death due to cardiac arrest is revived through active emergency treatment.
TraumaSaver refers to cases where appropriate treatment of severe trauma patients contributed to improved survival rates and reduced disability rates, and is finally selected after confirmation by hospital doctors and review by the Fire Headquarters' screening committee.
