"Sharing the Pain" LG Household & Health Care Supports 50% of Cosmetics Franchise Rent
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] LG Household & Health Care announced on the 12th that it will urgently support 50% of the monthly rent for its nationwide cosmetics franchise stores due to the increased difficulties caused by the resurgence of COVID-19. The monthly rent support for cosmetics franchise stores, which began last year, has been provided a total of four times including this round.
The cosmetics franchise stores operated by LG Household & Health Care include about 480 Nature Collection and The Face Shop stores. As the COVID-19 situation has continued for over a year from last year through this year, these stores have been facing operational difficulties.
Vice Chairman Cha Seok-yong said, “We decided to provide rent support to share the pain and ease the burden of franchise stores struggling with management difficulties due to the fourth wave of COVID-19,” adding, “We hope the economy recovers quickly and consumption rebounds.”
