Son Jeongmin's Friend Requests Google to Remove Video... Identifies 122 Channels
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] The friend of university student Son Jeong-min, who was found dead in the Han River, Mr. A, has requested Google to remove YouTube videos that insult him and his family.
On the 11th, Jung Byung-won, a lawyer from the law firm One & Partners representing Mr. A, stated, "We have sent a certified letter to Google Korea requesting the deletion of videos that spread false information and defame Mr. A and his family." Mr. A's side identified 122 channels that uploaded the related videos.
Mr. A's side said, "The videos mainly contain false claims that Mr. A is the murderer of Son and that his parents helped destroy evidence of the crime," adding, "If no action is taken despite this request, we will proceed with legal measures on behalf of Mr. A and his family."
