This special inspection is in response to the continuous occurrence of four-digit daily new confirmed cases mainly in the metropolitan area since early July.
Pohang City focuses on checking compliance with basic quarantine rules, prohibition of shower room use, limits on the number of users per area, and adherence to usage time restrictions by sport, which are additional quarantine rules under the Level 3 social distancing.
