Sewon ENC Signs Additional Supply Contract for Chemical Plant Equipment with GS Construction
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Sewon ENC announced on the 11th that it has signed a contract worth 5.6 billion KRW with GS Construction to supply chemical plant equipment.
The plant equipment manufactured by Sewon ENC is a tower-type petrochemical process device called a column, which will be used in the butadiene (BD) plant construction project that Daehan Petrochemical is establishing within the Onsan Industrial Complex. The contract period is until September 30 of next year.
The contract corresponds to an additional order for the 5 billion KRW chemical plant equipment supply contract Sewon ENC signed with GS Construction on the 15th of last month.
Sewon ENC is expanding its orders by signing multiple chemical plant equipment supply contracts recently. In the third quarter of this year, it achieved new orders totaling 20 billion KRW domestically and internationally.
Hamanbong, head of Sewon ENC’s Chemical Business Division, said, "Due to the favorable petrochemical market conditions, orders for chemical plant equipment are increasing significantly," adding, "We are participating in bids for numerous projects, including large-scale LNG projects."
