On the 10th, HiteJinro announced that it provided 2,850 servings of samgyetang to supplement the nutrition of residents in the five major jjokbangchon areas in Seoul who are enduring a difficult summer due to the ongoing heatwave.
Over three days starting from the 2nd, samgyetang was delivered to all five jjokbangchon locations including Seoul Station, Changsin-dong, and Donui-dong. In June, the company also delivered 64,000 bottles of Seoksu along with messages of support.
Kim In-gyu, CEO of HiteJinro, stated, "As the extreme heat continues this summer, we judged that support for jjokbangchon residents is more urgent than ever," adding, "We hope this small help will assist the residents in having a healthy summer."
