"Health Checkups and Business Diagnostics for SMEs"
Jungjin-gong Supports Customized Policy Projects Through Expert Business Analysis
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 10th that it operates the 'Corporate Diagnosis' project, which links customized policy projects through corporate analysis to promote innovative growth and prevent insolvency of companies. Corporate Diagnosis is a project where industry experts analyze the difficulties and strengths and weaknesses of companies, propose solutions, and support tailored linkage to policy projects to resolve difficulties, thereby driving the sustainable growth of small and medium ventures.
The Corporate Diagnosis consists of three stages. In the first stage, the diagnosis process, management and technology experts conduct on-site surveys of companies to diagnose external management environment, core competencies, management performance, and other internal capabilities. In the second stage, the solution proposal process, based on the diagnosis results, management goals are reset, and practical plans and growth solutions for improving competitiveness such as improvement roadmaps are established and provided. The third stage is policy linkage support, which provides customized support for various SBC policy projects such as policy funds, export marketing, and training, considering the company's situation.
Looking at the sales growth rate of 4,152 companies that participated in the diagnosis last year, it increased by an average of 12.7% compared to 2019. This is 3.49 percentage points higher than the 9.21% sales growth rate of non-participating companies. In addition, in terms of job creation, as of 2020, diagnosed companies created 2.02 jobs, which is 0.88 more than the 1.14 jobs created by non-participating companies.
Considering the COVID-19 situation this year, SBC newly introduced a 'non-face-to-face diagnosis system' and has supported 4,319 companies so far. In the non-face-to-face diagnosis, when companies input their status and performance information, big data is used to automatically derive various analysis results such as industry trends, strength and weakness analysis, and performance level comparison with peer companies, and also provides standard solutions for problem-solving. The non-face-to-face diagnosis is available for free on the website.
