Saenggakdaero Issues Water Coupon for Delivery Riders... Redeemable at Nearby Convenience Stores
Logiol-Welcome Savings Bank to Provide Bottled Water Gifticons on the 10th
July Delivery Volume Up 30% Year-on-Year Amid Heatwave
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Logiol, which operates the delivery agency company Saenggakdaero, is conducting a bottled water coupon issuance event for delivery riders in collaboration with Welcome Savings Bank.
Saenggakdaero recorded its highest monthly delivery count last month, with order numbers increasing by more than 30% compared to the same period last year. This surge in delivery demand is due to recent heatwaves, the implementation of social distancing level 4 measures, and the Tokyo Olympics viewing. To support riders working in the scorching heat, Logiol and Welcome Savings Bank decided to provide refreshing bottled water coupons.
The bottled water coupons will be issued in the form of Gifticons on the 10th to all riders who have completed at least one delivery within the past month, and can be exchanged for products at nearby convenience stores.
A representative from Welcome Savings Bank said, "We express our gratitude with refreshing bottled water to the riders who silently provide delivery services for the convenience of the public under the blazing sun where the perceived temperature exceeds 40℃ at midday."
