Muan-gun Presents 'Music Fountain Show' on Midsummer Nights Amid Tropical Nights
Harmonizing with LED Lights to Various Music Genres
[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 9th that it will operate a music fountain and Oryong Fountain in Namak Central Park to provide healing and refreshment to residents amid the ongoing tropical nights.
The music fountain, operated to provide a resting space for residents exhausted by COVID-19 and the scorching heat, will run six times daily (at noon, 1 PM, and from 6 PM to 9 PM) on weekdays and weekends. Each session lasts 30 minutes, featuring a music fountain show where LED lights and fountains harmonize to various music genres such as ballads, dance, and trot. However, the ground fountain, which facilitates close contact among people, is temporarily suspended for safety due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation.
Additionally, since the New Town Support Group was newly established on the 5th of last month, the 13-year-old Oryong Fountain and music fountain will be remodeled to reflect the county administration slogan, "Vibrant Happy Muan," in dynamic fountains. The plan is to provide various attractions and conveniences to park visitors and to thoroughly maintain the facilities to relieve stress caused by the heat.
Governor Kim San said, "I hope the music fountain offers some comfort to residents tired from COVID-19 and the scorching heat," and added, "I ask everyone to strictly follow quarantine rules during the operation."
