[Breaking News] Suneung Examinees Maintain 4-Week Vaccination Interval, Education and Childcare Workers Adjusted to 5 Weeks
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Chun-hee] The COVID-19 Vaccination Response Promotion Team announced on the 9th that the interval between the 2nd dose of mRNA vaccines for citizens scheduled for vaccination after the 16th will be changed from 4 weeks to 6 weeks. This is a temporary measure applied in consideration of the recent uncertainty in the supply situation of the Moderna vaccine.
However, high school seniors, high school faculty and staff, and other college entrance exam candidates will maintain the existing 4-week vaccination interval to avoid disruptions to the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) schedule. Enlistees scheduled for military service will also maintain the existing interval considering their enlistment dates.
