Hangeul-NHN 'Cloud Alliance'... Targeting Corporate and Public Markets
Hancom Group is establishing a cooperative relationship with NHN to expand the cloud market.
On the 9th, Hancom announced that it has secured exclusive sales rights for 'Durey,' the work collaboration tool of 'NHN Durey,' and is stepping up efforts to expand its cloud business area.
Hancom will focus on expanding business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) transactions of 'Durey' by leveraging its existing sales network and know-how, while NHN Durey will provide integrated collaboration services based on this.
Durey is a cloud-based collaboration platform that enables project-based work execution and includes services such as messenger, video conferencing, email, and calendar. It has secured clients such as HDC Hyundai Development Company, Hyundai Oilbank, and NS Home Shopping. In the public sector, it provides services to Seoul National University, KAIST, and the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI).
NHN Durey plans to release 'Durey 2.0' within the year through upgrades that will add electronic approval, attendance management, human resources, and financial service functions.
The two companies plan to form a long-term partnership to target the domestic and international cloud markets.
Baek Chang-yeol, CEO of NHN Durey, said, "The introduction of collaboration tools has the power to bring about innovation in collaboration culture," adding, "The combination of various know-how from Hancom Group will create great synergy."
