Martial Arts, 'Industrial Technology Convergence Challenge' Participant Recruitment... Deadline on the 20th
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] The Korea International Trade Association announced on the 9th that it is recruiting participants for the '1st Industrial Technology Convergence Business Model Challenge (I-Contest),' co-hosted with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, until the 20th of this month.
This event is a competition that discovers ideas and business models derived from industrial technology convergence and supports their actual commercialization. Anyone who is a citizen or a company of the Republic of Korea can participate. The challenge topics have been selected in three major areas: future mobility, carbon-neutral energy, and human-coexistence robots.
Applications are open until the 20th of this month, and detailed information can be found on the Trade Association website or the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy website.

The winning teams will be selected through a written evaluation and interview in September, a public online evaluation in October, and a final presentation in November. Two teams per each of the three major fields (one general public team and one company team) will be chosen, totaling six teams. The winning teams will receive prize money and commendations, along with package support including business model advancement, research and development (R&D) support for overseas expansion, and investment matching.
