A man in his 30s dies after assault dispute with high school student in Uijeongbu
Police Request Autopsy for Deceased... Plan to Decide Suspect's Custody Status
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] In Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi Province, a man in his 30s was seriously injured and died following a physical altercation with high school students.
According to the Uijeongbu Police Station on the 7th, around 11 p.m. on the 4th, a fight involving fists broke out between a man in his 30s, Mr. A, and six high school students in Minrak-dong, Uijeongbu City.
During the incident, Mr. A lost consciousness, collapsed, and was taken to the hospital, where he died during treatment.
The police are investigating the circumstances of the incident with the suspects and have confirmed through closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage that two of the six directly participated in the assault.
