[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Seo Chaehyun (18, Sinjeong High School, The North Face Climbing Team) ranked 8th in the first match of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic sports climbing combined final.
On the 6th, Seo Chaehyun started in 8th place after losing to Brooke Raboutou (USA) in the 7th-8th place match of the women's combined speed final at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics sports climbing event held at Aomi Urban Sports Park in Tokyo, Japan.

The sports climbing combined event determines medal rankings by combining the results of three disciplines: speed, which involves climbing a 15m high inclined wall as fast as possible; bouldering, which involves passing various artificial structures on a 4.5m high wall without a rope; and lead, which involves climbing as high as possible on a 15m high wall.
