Women's Volleyball to Face USA in Finals if They Defeat Brazil
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dong-hyun] The U.S. women's volleyball team advanced to the final by defeating Serbia at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
The U.S. won the semifinal held on the 6th at Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan, with a set score of 3-0 (25-19, 25-15, 25-23) against Serbia.
This marks the U.S.'s fourth attempt at an Olympic gold medal in history. They lost to China at the 1984 Los Angeles Games, and were defeated by Brazil at the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Games, earning three silver medals and two bronze medals so far.
