Ilsimgun, Osu Je2 Nonggongdanji Land Inclusion... Compensation Negotiation 'Completed'
[Imsil=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Nosik] The Osuje 2 Agricultural-Industrial Complex development project promoted by Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk, has completed 100% compensation negotiations without land expropriation for the first time in the country.
The county announced on the 6th that it started compensation negotiations for the land included in the Osuje 2 Agricultural-Industrial Complex project site from January last year and completed all compensation negotiations in one and a half years.
The land included in the Osuje 2 Agricultural-Industrial Complex project site consists of 114 parcels totaling 171,412㎡, and the county achieved this result through a visiting compensation negotiation service.
The visiting compensation negotiation service was carried out by establishing a compensation negotiation promotion plan, including assigning staff experienced in compensation work exclusively, and through this service, landowners were able to handle everything from project explanation, ownership transfer, to compensation claims in a one-stop process at nearby eup/myeon/dong offices where they reside.
Additionally, preparations were made to allow cancellation of mortgages and superficies set on land and buildings to ensure no inconvenience, and thanks to such proactive administration and the response of local residents, with the cooperation of landowners and related parties, 100% compensation negotiations were achieved without land expropriation.
In particular, thanks to the visiting compensation negotiation service, with the completion of compensation negotiations, there have been effects such as shortening administrative procedures and project duration, as well as favorable reviews describing the compensation process as courteous.
The Osuje 2 Agricultural-Industrial Complex development project, which has received project approval, is the first in South Korea in that there is no land or property to be expropriated, and is evaluated as a representative excellent case.
The agricultural-industrial complex being developed in the Geumam-ri area of Osu-myeon went through the approval of the shared property management plan in 2018, followed by local financial investment review and consultations with related agencies last year.
In March, it passed the local industrial complex plan review, received the agricultural-industrial complex plan approval notification in May, and construction began last month.
The county expects that if the Osuje 2 Agricultural-Industrial Complex development project proceeds smoothly, it will not only revitalize the pet industry but also provide many jobs within the region, thereby revitalizing the local economy.
To ensure that major core projects proceed without setbacks within the project period, proactive administration such as the visiting compensation negotiation service is seen as an important factor, and there are plans to apply it to other projects as well.
County Governor Shim Min said, “Thanks to the visiting compensation negotiation service and the cooperation of residents, we have achieved 100% compensation negotiation results without land expropriation,” and added, “We will actively promote related companies to ensure the prompt sale of the Osuje 2 Agricultural-Industrial Complex.”
