[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] The friend A of university student Son Jeong-min, who was found dead in the Han River, has filed a police complaint against hundreds of netizens who posted malicious comments.
The law firm One & Partners, representing A, filed a complaint on the 6th with the Seocho Police Station in Seoul against 273 individuals who posted comments on some videos on YouTube channels 'Pijipsa' and 'Shinui Hansu', comments on portal news articles, and some posts on the Naver cafe 'Banjinsa (People Seeking the Truth of the Banpo Han River Incident)' for violations of the Information and Communications Network Act and defamation.

Regarding the Son family’s accusation against A for assault causing death and abandonment causing death, he said, "The investigation has already been concluded, and since all facts are believed to have been revealed, we do not think additional investigation is necessary."
