The Safety Report Center operates with the purpose of promoting the habitual practice of safety reporting and fostering a proactive safety culture. Prize money is awarded twice a year, in the first and second halves, to selected outstanding reporters. In the first half of this year, a total of 106 people were selected as outstanding reporters and received prize money.
The reporting targets include all safety hazards that citizens encounter in daily life. For example, damaged railings around rivers, risk of landslides, risks of collapse of aging retaining walls and construction site fences, damage to various signboards, and damage to roads and manholes are included.
Additionally, the city explained that in the second half of the year, outstanding reporters who contributed to preventing the spread of COVID-19 will also be selected and awarded prize money.
The Safety Report Center can be used by taking photos or videos and uploading them to the ‘Safety Report Center’ app to report hazards.
